Wally Dant is Log Still Distillery's self-described founder, foreman, and fearless leader — and the great-great-great-grandson of Joseph Washington Dant, who started making Kentucky bourbon in 1836 by hollowing out a poplar log because he couldn't afford a copper still. Nearly 200 years later, Wally is bringing his family's spirits back to the same Gethsemane, Kentucky land where six generations of Dants distilled before him. And he's joining us for dinner.
