Whether you're planning a Friday night with friends, a first date at the bar over a couple of pours, or an anniversary dinner that deserves a real occasion, Bourbons Bistro is ready to welcome you. On Louisville's Frankfort Avenue since 2005, we're the city's original neighborhood bourbon bar and restaurant — 130+ bourbons, a seasonal Southern-inspired menu from Executive Chef Jereme McFarland, and a room built for good evenings that go a little longer than planned.‍ ‍

Reservations are available online through OpenTable, or by calling us directly at (502) 894-8838. We recommend booking ahead for Friday and Saturday evenings and for any of our bourbon dinners or ticketed events. Walk-ins are welcome at the bar Tuesday through Saturday starting at 4:30 pm — grab a seat, pick something interesting from the shelf, and stay as long as you like.

Private events and group dining

For rehearsal dinners, milestone birthdays, anniversary parties, corporate gatherings, holiday parties, retirement toasts, and every other reason to bring people together around a table, Bourbons Bistro has two dedicated private event spaces:

• The Rick Room. Our upstairs private event space seats up to 50 guests and has its own private entrance. Ideal for private bourbon dinners, larger celebrations, and corporate events where you want the space to feel entirely yours.

• The covered patio. Our main-floor covered patio accommodates up to 30 seated guests. Perfect for smaller gatherings — engagement dinners, holiday parties, and any group that wants great food, a serious bourbon list, and a little more air.

We also offer off-site catering, and Chef Jereme McFarland is happy to build a custom menu around your group's preferences, dietary needs, and any bourbon pairings you'd like to feature.

Accessibility note: The Rick Room is located on our second floor and is accessed by stairway only; the building does not have an elevator. If step-free access is important for any member of your party, our covered main-floor patio is a beautiful alternative — just let our event team know when you inquire.
